Slí Gaeltacht Mhúscraí 70km

Slí Gaeltacht Mhuscraí is a 70km (approx 3 day) section of the famous Beara-Breifne Way from the tip of Beara Peninsula at Dursey in Co. Cork to Blacklion area in the Breifne area of Co Leitrim And Cavan. It follows the 17th century march of Dónal Cam O’Sullivan Beare, the last great chieftain of the West Cork and South Kerry area and his one thousand supporters in 1603, who fled English troops in west Cork hoping to join forces with rebel leaders in Ulster.

Slí Gaeltacht Mhuscraí links Kealkill and Millstreet in County Cork passing through a variety of terrain from forest track and boreen to open mountain and bogland and there are many sites of interest and beauty including the famous Guagán Barra.
